American Family Abroad: What our first year moving overseas has been like
Can you believe it has been 1 year!!?? We surely can’t!
December 30th, 2020 we said our good byes to friends, family, and everything that we have ever known in life to move from California, across the sea, and embark on the journey of a lifetime here in Barbados. In this year we have experienced, volcanic ash-fall from St. Vincent’s La Soufriere eruption, a freak storm which terrified us at 1AM, a hurricane, our house flooding, COVID in the US, delivering a TEDx talk, and a leveling up of our family life and human connection that we couldn’t have even imagined one year prior when departing. Amidst the ups and downs…this reflection is a love letter to our past year of life…
It confirmed for us that we can: Flip our Script and Level Up Our Lives.
