LIFE IN BARBADOS: Family Friday Night Adventure at the Cinema
One of our favorite things to do in Barbados is explore new places as a family. We decided to head to the Globe Drive-In on a Friday night for a viewing of Sing 2! We loaded up the car with a few snacks as well as pillows and blankets and made our way from the West Coast to the South Coast of the island. The Globe Drive-In is located in Adam’s Castle, Christ Church just beyond the Sheraton Mall area and is the only operating drive-in cinema in the Caribbean.
The Cinema hosts current movies with a steady rotation of showings Thursdays-Sundays. They also have a decent selection of Restaurant Menu items to choose from ranging from popcorn and snacks to Samosas, Fishcakes, Rotis and Burgers.
We have enjoyed our experience and plan to visit the Globe Drive-In on the regular as it is a great and affordable family night out option.
