This first video captures highlights from our trip to the Caribbean, St. Maarten specifically, in July 2019 which ultimately forced us to really sit down and re-evaluate our life and the many wants and dreams we have for our family. Previously we would return home after a beautiful vacation and imagine what life would be like if we were to move to an island. Those thoughts and dreams would generally fade as we eased back into daily life. What was different about returning home this time was the fact that our thoughts and dreams of moving to an island were getting stronger and stronger as time passed and we were forced to pay attention like no other time before. The discussions gradually moved from a general idea to more specifically what would life look like! How would this impact us, our businesses, our children, our everyday life, our personal and family growth, our finances, our families, etc! As we got further and further into looking at this idea all together we came to realize how on earth could WE NOT do this! We won’t have this exact opportunity and timing ever again and with our children at the age they are it is the ideal time. So with that… we are off and running on making this island life dream a reality.
