Here are 4 Revelations and some guiding questions that we explored for us.

There are some guiding questions you can explore for yourself if you are looking at flipping any small or big part of your script. Remember…All big change starts as small change. (also…the people of St. Vincent still need help…scroll to the bottom for resources on that).
1.) Embracing the Unexpected:
How has embracing a COVID outbreak on the island and experiencing ash fall from a volcanic eruption actually strengthened us?
For you: Can unexpected situations happen for you and not to you? Have some of the most challenging times created strength and growth for you when you have gotten past them?

2.) Human Connection:
Can a different environment and culture change our experiences in human connection?
For you: What is a little change you make in your environment that can change your human connection? Can you go somewhere different, talk to someone new? What are questions that you can ask to stay curious?

3.) Childhood Experiences
How are the childhood experiences (and parenting experiences of childhood) similar and different here?
For you: What experiences do you want your child to have and what experiences do you want to have as a parent? Think about experiences that may cost money, but especially experiences that are incredibly rich that cost very little or nothing financially. Make a list and dream big! It costs you nothing to dream and put that list where you can see it…just maybe someday it will come true. Even if you are thinking of kids, can spending time contemplating this be beneficial to you?

4.) Mind Freedom
Can we be carrying mental baggage that we weren’t even aware of until we change our environment?
For you: What are the Limits that you may be placing on yourself or others? These are found as I/We can’t,or I/We don’t statements. Make a list of those, and ask yourself if for a moment you could give a safe space to just wonder if you could. What would it look like.
The only people that have changed the world, started by changing their world in believing in the impossible and realizing that word actually states: I’m Possible. Perhaps those little I can’t’s are actually something that we can turn into an empowering belief.

APRIL 30th, 2021
….marked 4 months, since we flipped our script, leaving behind the only life we had known in California to travel over Land and Sea and move to Barbados. The journey has provided many powerful lessons, ideas and revelations. Although there have been many, we capture 4 key revelations that have really enriched our experience here thus far. If you have been contemplating flipping your script in anyway, big or small…Perhaps some of these reveals can help plant some seeds in your thinking. In the future we will explore how the big script flip of moving here was actually no more that a culmination of very, very small micro script flips over the years.
