The kids had mid-term break for school not too long ago which gave us the opportunity to explore new as well as one of our favorite spots on the island.
Somewhere new was Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary which has been on Kira’s wish list since we arrived on the island nearly 1 year ago. We had a great afternoon visiting with the animals and will include a link to the Ocean Acres website as there are many opportunities to become involved with this organization from fostering, adopting, sponsoring and volunteering. They are in need of items as well so if you would like to donate things such as leashes, collars and doggie bags those would be much appreciated.

Next on our must see list was one of our all time favorite spots- The Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Always a sight to see, we made sure to visit during feeding time to catch a glimpse of all the action. If you are visiting Barbados make sure to add this on your list of things to do… you won’t be disappointed.
