What do you think of when you imagine someone going through a chemotherapy infusion?
I was petrified on round one and couldn’t hold back the tears as the very first infusion began. The thought of so much toxicity running rampant through my body, the fear of the unknown and the reality of the situation all hit at that moment.

Chemo has been tough and today’s infusion was actually a pleasure! Sounds crazy right! I am thankful for each infusion my body can tolerate and pray for successful results. The infusion nurses truly are a special breed of people. We have been blessed to meet this nurse, Caden, through this process and I am not exaggerating when I say we literally spend the entire time laughing and smiling. He is a shining light amidst one of the most difficult struggles we have had to face.
Chemo #15 of 16 is now complete!
Can’t wait to wrap this part of the journey up next Friday!!
